10 Months Old...

Where has time gone? 

Seems just like yesterday that I was going to the hospital to give birth to this perfect little angel. NOW... she is clapping, rolling, standing up, feeding herself, babbling, smiling and all the other things that 10 month olds do. :)

Wow, how a child changes everything. Macelyn Grayce is truly amazing, and has changed our lives in so many ways. She makes gloomy days better with just one smile or slobbery raspberry on the cheek.
We are so happy to have this sweet, sweet baby in our lives!! 
I had a little photo shoot with her this afternoon. I love having a little girl, she is the perfect little model! :) Enjoy some shots from our little session.

Macelyn's 1st birthday party

So I am starting to look for inspiration for Macelyn's first birthday party. One of my favorite sites is Kara's Party Ideas. There are so many party ideas and resources it can definitely be overwhelming. Go check her out! Here are a couple of my favorites so far. Have to make my choice soon, so I can start planning and making pretty decorations!

I love how cute this Ribbons and Bows theme from Kara's Party Ideas is. I love the soft colors and all the frilly ribbons and bows.

Perhaps my favorite so far, is this Fabric Pennant Party from Kara's Party Ideas. I love the simplicity of it. I am hoping that the weather cooporates and we have a warm sunshiny day on March 17. I love everything DIY, and this theme truly is for the DIY'er in me.

So cute!! I can't wait to get started.

Lamp: Inspiration

I am on a hunt for new lamps for our living room this weekend.  These are some of my favorites I found online. I guess I will see what I can find in the stores. My first stop is going to be Marshall’s, my go to store for all things for my home. I usually find amazing lamps there, and they usually have two of each. If I don’t fall in love with a set there, I am going to hit up Pier One next. 

I’ll update yal next week on what I find. 

I have a list a mile long, of things I want to do in this house. One step at a time. :)

Wow, 2012 and more.

WOW, I sure fell off the boat at the end of 2011. I really wanted to keep up with my blog, but between keeping up with a growing baby girl, the holidays, a new job (whoohoo) and everything else, I lost track!! 2012... (Wow, can't believe it is already 2012) I am going to do better! The first few post, I will get yal caught up-to-date with what happened at the end of the year/holidays, and then we will get on with some new posts. I haven't decided if I am going to try to keep a weekly theme, or just be random. I guess we will see where my mind goes as I try to get my blog organized. Oh, I do have lots of pictures to share, putting that ol' Nikon to good use. Plus, little girl's 1st birthday is in two months (*gasp*) can't believe it. I'm sure I will have some planning inspiration posts! Ok, I am going to bed now, as 5:30 comes early! G'night all!!
